Very easy to convert to discs, too. You just have to buy drilled rotors, and tap the holes.

The wheel refusing to turn just indicates how you need to use a spacer, because drums are a different thickness than discs. Also, you have to leave the wheel bearings loose, because disc brakes are tighter than drums.
